| im pleased to finally have a caddy. some of you will know how long ive wanted one. its a shame the kitcar had to go to make room, but i had lost enthusiam in it so its for the best. still sad to see it go but now i have the caddy sitting high on the drive. anybody notice a trend in the colour of my dubs? | |

| yeah it is straight. both sills need welding and one front wishbone mount is rotten. nothing i cant cope with mind.
all the important bits are straight. rear quarters, inner arches and bed and sides are spot on. bed has a bit of surface rust and one hole but not a riplle anywhere so i can have that looking mint in no time.

| had a little poke around under the sills today, i knew they were a bit rotten and steve came over yesterday to let me know that it was quite major. had a little poke then got the grinder out. inner and outer sills are totally shagged form the cab back and the inner sill has rotted away from the floor aswell. all i need is some steel and it'll be sorted in a jiffy. i havent had a proper inspection of the passenger side yet but at a glance it seems much better. the arches on the other hand are immaculate, pulled the stone chip arch spat things off and not a spot of rust under them - strange eh? so joe, mine is the real rustowagen! | |

| right, heres some photo's of the rust and the surprisingly rust free arch that was under the spat. heres some that fell out its pretty bad under there. have cut away nearly all of the rust now so im back to good metal. its quite alarming seeing the floor throught the cab! gonna get welding tomorrow. also took the seats carpets and dash out today, gonna get some mates in there strippping the crap off the floor ready for when it gets painted. Brad - im going for a complete rebuild on the old girl, and some more interesting things may be happening too | |

Look forward to seeing the updates.
