Pre-Clean interior snaps:
Time for tidying up!
Pictures of rust to sort:
Not bad for a 22 year old car!
Rear Badge painted:
Few mins on the bonnet with various products:
Got up to halfords to get some new plates and rust beating materials:
The old battery cables were looking a bit tired:
New ones fitted:
Got on with spraying the inner door skins with waxoil too and removed the front wings and bumpers to get going with the underseal today. Left some rust eater on the few patchs overnight so I'll also apply some more when I go out there today.
I'll get some running videos up when its back together.
Thanks for looking.
Got Roberto over today to assist with progress/photo support.

Bit more progress tonight, didnt get as much done as I wanted to but nevermind.
Finished off a few bits where I had missed with the underseal
Refitted the rear arches and rivetted them on properly
Refitted the exhaust
Refitted the rear bumper
Refitted front arch liners
Made a dial blank for gauges in the DIN position
Tidied up and painted the battery tray
Removed rear number plate plinth and prepped for paint
Stripped boot ready for removal and paint in the next few days
Also got hold of a genuine toolkit for the boot thanks to Guy
Anyway they say pictures speak louder than words.
Bit of compund on the front wing and 10 mins later:
Gauge plate:
Tool kit (notice how good the paint is!)
Today's progress was to get the paint on the way to being sorted.
Got the car out of the garage and swept it out tidied up tools so I had more space to work.
Got the rear bumper off the car again and then assessed as to what needed to be done with them.
Worst of the damage on the front:
Front and rear both rubbed down:
Gave them a skim of filler too, just left that to dry for now.
Next up was the reg plate trim. With the removal of the black sticker around the window the rear looked too white now. out came the satin.
Before:
After:
Then I got onto looking at the worst of the rust on the boot and the rear badge area. All was rubbed back to bare metal and i've left it with some rust eater on the rest overnight.
After:
The yellowy/beige on the bottom part of the back is just spray on underseal
I will hopefully get the bootlid and the bumpers in primer tomorrow
