Flashband works a treat for sound-deadening. It's not massively cheap but works well Smile

Did the front and rear of the van with it and it is sooooo much quieter than it was before.

got the rest of the crap off the floor up last week
project--rustowagen mk1 caddy - Page 36 DSC_0281-1
project--rustowagen mk1 caddy - Page 36 DSC_0282-1
and thanks to dan and mike for a heloing hand today, got the res' pot holder in, had to do a bit of a slight modification to the underside of the dash, had to remove part of the cardboard that normaly ducts air into the heaterbox. gonna be some haters from the mk1 owners for cutting a lump out of a mint rare dash but it wouldnt work with it in there...
before, didnt get an after but can see i took a fair bit oout from the second photo
project--rustowagen mk1 caddy - Page 36 DSC_0336
project--rustowagen mk1 caddy - Page 36 DSC_0339
brackets fitted really well so real chuffed with them. going to weld them up and blend them in next weekend
project--rustowagen mk1 caddy - Page 36 DSC_0337
need some 90degree bends for the bottom of the pots so the lines dont pop out the bottom of the dash, will be hooked up so they dont sag too. but for an idea
