| Got the other end of my rad welded up the otherday, also the bottom lugs tacked on for another test fit today, so the bottom end is all in the right place now just need to make some brackets for the top. Also made some joiners for my top hoses at work the other day and polished them, also used a normaly mk1 top hose and cut it up for the elbow bends as i cant get any more samco ones for 4 weeks! this is pretty much how the top hose will be... Wayne from pro alloy sorted me a slim line fan too and then went and picked it up in the week also, going to be a nice tight fit. hard to tell as the radiator is only held in by the lugs welded on the underside no mounts holding it up straight yet. going to be a few mm between the fan and front pannel though all comments welcome as usual...... | |

going to be joiners but will have samco classic range, so all sattin black. may get dan to make me some billet joiners though so the height wont change between the joiner and hose. if that makes sence? oil cooler should hopefuly arrive next week with a 4branch too

not going overly excessive with shineys, may get my radiator anodised black, and maybe the oil cooler thats coming im going to chop up and mount to the rad, got all black hoses and black alloy fittings so propper stealth style. - Liam B wrote:
ha cheers man didnt get to much done this week, my packages havent turned up either so cant really work out where the oil coolers going to go along with the hoses for it. So i think im going to use the original rad' mounts for mine. probaly make some stainless ones but use the original stlye....thoughts?..... Also got the spouts welded in, just need to top neck on now and boss for the sensor in the bottom, then thats about done. A saucy weldy shot just because it looks nice.... Annnnd got my fan mounted this week. 4 threaded bosses welded to some tabs i made. tabs are only tacked on at the moment as i wasnt sure if they were slim line enough. got a good 3mm between the fan and front panel once the rads in the "mounted" position. thankyou......
