What size tool to remove driveshaft bolts off a mk 2!

Currently removing my gearbox and struggling to undo the star bolts that hold the drivehshaft to the flange plate. Can anyone tell me what size i need as the T40 seems to small and the T45 seems to big.

Most likely will be a multispline. M8 or M10 I should think.

You need a M8 spline drive key mate, not torx drive!

yup, deffo m8. Notescorts on ebay used to sell metre long drive shaft tools, which r ace, and well worth their weight in gold.........u can undo both sides without even having to get under tha car and saves getting convered in S**t aswel. yhowever, mine broke, does any1 know if u can still get them as i cant find them on ebay?
