| Hey all, hoping I can get some advice! My 1999 polo has been running fine, but the starter motor has always made a bit of a weird noise when starting the car up. We got a replacement starter motor and were meaning to get it changed over but didnt get round to it. Now this morning I started the car up fine, went to the garage and went to turn the car back on again and it wouldnt go. Weve since changed the starter motor but it still wont start. The cars fine once you get it going (bump starting it) but it wont start with the key. It makes a sort of click noise but doesnt start. Anything I could try? I am supposed to be going home tommorow and my weekend has been ruined because of this! Thanks in advance, Amy | |

| Hi, it was a second hand one but he said it was in full working order. Do you think its another faulty starter motor? Thanks | |

i would say so, usually if it bump starts fine and just clicks when you try starting with the key its a faulty starter | |
