| The guy that had my mk2 before me was a painter and so it has tons of little paint/emulsion flicks on it. Anyone know a good product/way of removing these? Cheers | |

| I use 'Tetrosyl standard thinners' at work. You could just get any kind of paint thinners though. | |

| did you get the motor from Haverhill...??.....i nearly got that for myself but noticed you looking it over and when i came back it'd gone so i figured you must have got it......lol........he used it like a van with the back seats down fully loaded with paint and ladders | |

yeah thats the one mate! I've known the guy that was selling it for a few years now and he randomly text me saying it was for sale so I snapped it up! needed a bit of work but its definatly worth it and i'm already loving it! just wanna get it tidy as pos and go from there | |

| try giving it a go over with a clay bar, should get the most of it off. | |

Cheers for that I clay bar'd it this weekend and it got a fair bit of stuff off! Unfortunatly though it's still kinda tatty, a lot of stone chips and stuff so might have to either find a magician or a painter :( | |

| haha i'd probably end up turning it into a rat if i keep goin!
Halfrauds were no use in trying to get a touch up pen for the colour so looks like it's gonna be pricey getting paint done on it! | |

| Paint code should be on a White sticker in the boot mate. Anyone should be able to mix it then, including halfords. | |

| Alternatively go into discount auto parts in cambridge with your paint code and they will make you a touch up pot for you for about £12.
