they took ages mark! i was hating split rims for a few hours! but im sure it will all be worth it in the end! got a fair bit done today, had a bit of a late start as i didnt get going til about 12ish. decided to split the other Oz's that didnt get done last night. started out well, got a bit bored after abot an hour and half of removing all the bolts! (about 30 in each wheel) an as if that wasnt enough the person who resealed them must have used most of a tube on each wheel! didnt make my life any easier! but it had to be done i suppose. there was sooooo much sealer it was coming through the bolt holes! as you can imagen it was a bit of a mission to get most of it off so i could split the 2 parts, made quite a mess in the process lol but i got there in te end still a fair amount of sealer left on both the baskets and the lips! after all the rims were split gave them a good ol' clean with some real strong degreaser on the back of the baskets, let it soak in them washed it off, done this a few times until i was happy with the outcome. i was rather suprised how much came off to be honest! one of the cleaner ones before starting on with the degreaser then a comparison with a dirty and washed one then after all that was done it was grinder time to get rid of all the excess sealer. then another comparison of before and after finaly all 4 done and thats as far as i got today, going to hopefuly start to sand all the spoked areas down after work this week and get one in primer. already have the grey for them which dads mate is going to paint for me, also going to get some flat centre caps made up in the next cople weeks or so. couple more random pictures i took.... all comments welcome guys....

what wrong with them!? i gave mine to one of the girls at work for secret santa but i dont see it on her car! maybe i should ask for it back! tiz- i used the classic wire wheel on the grinder to remove most of the sealer then i used a paint removal wheel on the drill for the rest. u can buy em for 4 quid from frosts or 12quid from halfruads! lee-already on to it, going up soon to try one on, if they fir where abouts can i get bigger ones from? as i dont think the lip style matches from the 2 makes, but i could be wrong?

| The lip style changes due to the different widths mate. Check out ebay and you'll see various sizes. | |

Oh these for the grey caddy are they. Thought these was gunna be show truck wheels. My 8.5 rears work out to be approx ET7 so see how wide you can make your turbos without going any lower than 7.
