| Got my caddy van today thanks to wigman on the caddy forum delivering it and taking away my VR. Here she is folks As most vans, this 1 has her fair share of battle scar's. She looks pretty sh1t at the mo specially on the stock Rims lol. All cosmetic's though so should look pretty sweet soon. As you can see in the last pic, i also purchased some 17's off wigman aswell lol. Not my cuppa tea but better than stock and will do for now hey. Gave them a quick rub down with some 1200 wet and dry then 1 satin black rattle can later, they looked like this..... Gunna give her a good clean then the mods and and improvements will begin lol Hope ya likey | |

| Got the wheels on today. Lowered the front coilovers approx 10-15mm more. To give you an idea, there's 3inches from the bottom Ring to the bottom of the thread on the shock. Also painted the grill badge black and secured the front bumper sides better. . Looks loads better IMO I then went out in search of parts for her. Had some nice scrubbage on the way so the angle grinder and hammer will be out on the rear arches in the morning Eventually found a centre console and mirrors from a mk2 seat ibiza, £40 for the lot. Also nicked the unused fag lighter and unit along with some dash blanks lol. Had a bloody good day and to top it off, i got a new job back in the motor trade doing smart repairs! fantastic just hope my first day goes well tommorrow

| The Van cost me 750 already lowered professionally by the main man behind vwcaddy. com. Coilovers on the front. 12 months MOT tax til end may wheels cost 150 Probs could find a better condition 1 but i had this because it saved me getting the welder out to flip axle and the colour is rare!! here's the for sale ad link http://www.vwcaddy.com/showthread.php?t=19297 | |

Cheers ALL! Ed, got some stumpy mirrors to go, ibiza centre console. Just got a price on new front bumper grills from VW so will be ordering them in morning. Gunna tidy paint work up as best i can for now, probs satin black the roof to hide the dents lol. Need to sort some tunes as my new job is in Alconbury so 40 min drive gunna get depressing soon lol. Fit some VR seats from a donor i used parts off to fix my old VR. Oh, and just won an auction for pressed plates lol, £17 delivered!. I did manage to cut back the O/S rear arch a little before i started my new job so it dint scrub lol. Gunna do a better job at a later date for when she's loaded up wit crap lol. Even though the wheels look a little chavy, think they really work at the mo. Cant really go old skool on a modern truck IMO anyway. Still gunna keep my eyes peeled for 15's though | |

| Done a few bits over the weekend on the ice van! Spent most of saturday hoovering her then fitted the ibiza centre console, stubby mirrors. Also cleaned up the back. Today, i fitted my Alpine head unit from my truck after sorting out the butchered wiring Also de-wipered the rear door. Then decided to check its an vitals, not good Leaks oil and using water, my suspicion is head gaskets gone but will see how things look next weekend. Could be due an engine change | |

| Tempting Tom but not doing it til its proper Ker-put!!. The SDI power is plenty good enough for what i need though so to save fookin around doing a downpipe, i may just swap for standard. OR, would a TDi downpipe work on an AAZ TD? Need s be a fast and easy swap as its relied on now for my commute to work. Will defo TD if i get my mk1 caddy back on the road. | |

| if your up for it lee you could always TDi it.. I bet it would be easy being as there is already an SDi in it, plug and play swap i bet and you can pick up a TDi donor for like £200 You can even store the donor at mine and do the conversion in the dubshed if you want? Got a fair bit of information and research on TDi's now and as they already make the van in a TDi you can probably just bolt the flybywire throttle in. | |

| Not jumping at doing any TD swap yet. Need a car for work so cant afford to fook about with it at the mo. Will do the AAZ swap if any tom. Sam, yeah gunna satin black the roof mate. probs only the box part though as i'd like to keep the colour. Only gunna paint it to hide the dents at the mo. Got my New front bumper grills. Collected them from the ace meet last night. Now off to play with some wheels lol | |
