haha nah no piks of it all done, just got a few more bits to do: rear arch spats, carbon scuttle cover and aerial, oh and fit my fully red rear lights ive just finished and smoked indicators im still painting atm. cheers for all the feeback guys. will get some pictures up after sunday. dont want to spoil the suprise now its nearly done. so ule have to wait and for once im not whore'n it. well on the net anyways

had to take my inch blocks out from the rear as was nearly resting on the tyre on the passenger side, was ok until i had a passenger! looks a bit of sniffer stance now but will have to do until i can sort my archers out! anoying as the drivers side was fine, for some reason the pass side rear wheels sticks out about 3mm more!

cheers duuuude. yeh good contrast matches all te oter wooden bits too, still got a small bit of wood to come for other areas, also got another plan which will go over the wooden bed also not sure on the net might get one just to change it up from time to time, will make rollin shots easyier to take aswel!

for the rolling shots could you just run with the tailgate folded down? that shouldnt be a problem yeah?

day off today as its my birthday the big 18 now :p could have dossed about all day but thought it do one of the thing i enjoy most, sanding filler and primer! got both sides of the bed high build primer'd then guide coated upto 320grit. should be finished faltting off and sorting small bits out tomorrow then hopefuly get the colour on too.

also got some tools for my birthday, personalised plate and money so i can save for my big tool box. my plate is J18 CDY and got them made in the legal pressed versions from dubmeister so the ol' bill cant have a go anymore!



oh and possibly the coolest home made birthday cake ever in vw history?!

problem sorted, made another photobucket account! so heres some piks from friday and upto today, got the bed side and bulkhead finished, pretty pleased with it, came out fairly good for a can job! also added some more pinstriping would you believe!? hope you likeeeeee










and the next job in the bed is the wood, needs to be cut in, should look goood once finished

dude i dont care what colour anymore, your the artist do what ever you want as long as it dont cost sh1te loads and what ever colours you think will look good

cheers guys, yeh the cake is awsome my step mum makes wicked cakes. eaten all teh way around teh caddy so far, but its not looking good its gonna go soon i think!

mk1rolf- not sure about putting ply or mdf under it as an 8x4 sheet its a few inches short both sides of the bed, only going to have it in for shows anyway to cover the foooked bed up
