Polo fun litre :)

Last pics on these wheels for a while. Changed them to tarantulas we had. Mainly to gear it up a bit with the taller tyres because I have to go further for work now and use the dual carriageway. The little 4 gear 1 litre was revving a lot at 65-70 and they make the difference. Also its winter coming and the WLs are nice wheels.

Now has new mot. I changed the cracked windscreen to the one out of the red polo that was scrapped so that was free.

Poking about under the car pre mot i found some rust that was worse than it looked and ended up having to weld the rear of the drivers sill but it's all good for winter now. Bit of hassle but straight through the MOT.

I painted the wheels silver a few weeks ago which looks much more respectable than the green. I took these pics at Ely cathedral when I had some time to waste between jobs.



Somebody thought they would bend my aerial over so it is now more aerodynamic. Still works though

Not that interesting update but we're back on steelies due to low tread on tarantulas.
Rear wheel bearings changed too because they were making lots of noise. It wouldn't have done many more miles with them.

I'm not keeping the polo much longer so put my little 13x7s back on and blacked the bumpers up for the first time this year. It's such a go kart on these little wheels
I might put it up for sale at Big Bang at the end of next month and daily drive the white beetle again for summer. That's if my mum doesn't want it. I don't want to see it go!
