| Hi, i thought id start a thread for my current daily! I got this mk2f polo at the end of November, its my first polo and im pleased with it so far Its a 1991 and only has 78k, its had a new service and 2 new tyres, runs like a gem! Body is fairly tidy too and it currently has a Blaupunkt cassette deck with manual - from the dealership, lol. Future plans.. I bought some 15 inch bbs style GM wheels the other week for my golf, but now plan to get these painted white with skinny rubber and see how they roll! (any painters? quotes??) Get some lows! (any cheap springs or coilies?) Maybe white vinyl rear windows for a giggle.. Keep it clean. Probably a couple of other classic polo mods - roof rack, checkered stuff etc etc. My first mod, yay! | |

| I think the wheels will need the centre bores made bigger. They'll look good. | |

| The little white polo has had a few bits done rip Sparkey. Fitted the shocks from Sparkey, also the boot lock, roof rack, shock mounts, cd etc etc. De-wipered with a coke bottle lid and painted the front badge white for a giggle.. though im already bored of it. Minty Loved its run to santa pod, just needs a little balancing and tracking photoshop side reps, pah Big bang pics to follow.. | |

| It's going to be my warm daily for winter. I love it. Driving it around at Bug Jam 5s up with the mud flaps on the floor was fun Should have grown out of these old crude ones by now but I much prefer it to my last watercooled the mkv. I'll leave it as is or maybe put the BBS on again or my 3 spokes if I buy tyres. | |

| Got new wheels yesterday from a mate because he might be selling his polo. Both cars before Then they wouldn't fit the back because there was no gap at all so I tried fitting the green 13s off old jetta to the back but they didn't fit either with 60 profiles. So greens on back of 6n and black on back of my one for now. I took the rear mudguards off while I was at it. Today had time to raise the rear but realised it was one notch from the top So now 7mm higher than it was and at the highest setting. Got the hammer on the arch and they just fit but need a bit more hammering really. Assuro tyres How it is now I tried spacers on the rear that were on the 6n and it made it spot on but sat on the tyres. I might do a bit of cutting and hammering so I can use them but not just yet and i dont want the arches curved out. Front is fixed height on springs. | |
