| As if my week couldn't get any worse. My pride and joy is now dead and for once it wasn't my fault!! driving around innocently last nite around 12ish and a yuppie lookin merc decides to t-bone me at junction. complete write-off. He done a runner before the feds turned up.Think he was pissed. just rebuilt the bloody engine too. absolutely gutted. proper. :( | |

| Well they got his details n all that, but dont think i'll get anythin really. still cant beleive it. anyone out there who knows where i can find another polo coupe 1300 for sale give us heads up. hopefully i can save most of my parts and fit em to another one:( :( | |

| oh, his car was f**ked mate. he pegged it. didnt drive it away. the ambulance guy was into dubs and he said if Id been drivin a dagenham dustbin or some other s**te car i would've been in a bad way. That i'm very gratefull for. tink he hit me about 45mph in my side door. :( :( | |

| You'll only need a shell mate. engine is plug and play into all models If they have his details then you should be able to claim off him unless he was uninsured. | |

| I thought i recognised the car when i saw it sat there in the middle of the road last night, the merc was a right bloody mess, yours didn't look to bad but i only saw the rear end!!! I hope your ok as it looked like it might have hurt a little bit! As like everybody does i was trying to work out what happened as i was driving home lol!!!! | |

| sorry for your loss dude. Im sure on here Henry had a shell that he was going to sell look at his build thread. It was in a grey colour too would look sweet if you brought it back to life. You can get mk3's for fairly cheap nowadays tho. I found a 1 litre for my girlfriend for £300. | |
