Worthersee 2011, NurburgRing and More.....

Hi fellow Fendubbers,

Lee & Gem and I are heading for a little Euro tour next year to Worthersee 2011 and of course, The Ring on the way back. We are organising this together but thought we would see if anyone else would like to tag along?

We will post up dates etc as and when we book them and if people are serious about coming then we can try and organise it with you.

30th May > 2nd June in Worthersee

I should point out now if your interested that you NEED TO BOOK HOTEL ASAP IN WORTHERSEE as they are starting to fill up already and when I booked last year around January there were only a few singles left! Most, like the one we have booked at, allow you to cancel for free up to a week or so and by booking now they wont charge your card....

The Hotel i booked was for a Double room, 3 nights including breaky for 240 euro

Yeah that's true Mike but until we know for definite how many dudes are going I would/have booked a Hotel. Can always cancel for free up to 7 days before!

possibly am probably doing EBI4 in July so not sure if i can do both Will have a calculate

What do you expect the fuel costs to be?

For lee and I? Astronomical....

Its around 1000 miles give or take to get there with the odd bit of driving to other places so roughly 2100 miles? + The Ring, Gulp.

I don't think we will be motoring along too fast so a nice cruising speed to save fuel...

Put it this way...if i had the jetta built i couldn't afford to drive it there

I can't find the 2011 Ring calendar yet but will put up asap. I have a feeling we my have to do the Ring on the way though...

Ive been thinking about doing this for a while, it's a bit of a toss up between renting and car in america and doing the west coast or this next year. IT would cost sweet FA in my 1er, but having said that I'd like to do the ring in something with a few more cylinders!

After christmas im on the case for a place to stay or camp for this

I cant afford to book anywhere at the moment dude theres a few camp sites there if i cant get a hotel and there maybe a group of us comeing.

Dude, You can book the same Hotel as us and it wont cost you a penny mate. They only take your card details as security and you can cancel up to a week before FREE of charge.

Booked now will my car get me there and back no reason why not its only 15 hours drive
