have got some of the bits i want but with the bigger stuff the shipping kills it billy if you can help mate would be cool and kris no mate i havent given up but its hard going mate bora looks cool

im guessing your after boot lid, font bumper and wings? if so, when i start stripping mine down i can measure and weigh the parts and get a a shipping quote for you, it will probly be cheaper if a send them all together in a big wooden box, i should be able to get the actual parts cheap now and in good condition as i work for a body shop now, ill get measuring and weighing when i can and ill let you know man

yee i havnt seen any mk4s being broken lately and the only ones ive seen have front end damage, ill see how much i can get a brand new one for through work

theres no rush atm, the snow has just come in so i cant drive it for 4 months, hopefully getting it welded up in a few weeks then im just collecting parts painting/smoothing bits, then soon as the snow clears i can get it safety tested and then i can spend a week or so slamming it and fitting parts ready for the Canadian/US show season

did you say you have the same head as mine on your caddy engine? if so, where did you get your carb linkages/fuel shizzle and things from? i want carbs and i want to sort some out before june ready for my brother to fit when he comes here haha

so the guys who are taking me on as their apprentice have said i can weld the golf up at the workshop in warm over the next few weeks:) so today the sun came out and warmed up to -13 and the roads were clear, so i thought i would take the car down there, first thing i had to do was find the car.... we have had a bit of snow fall...

this is my deck, just to show you how deep it is


found a mound of snow so im guessing the car was under there


started the digging


found a car




success



turned the key and it fired up straight away, but run lumpy until it was warm.

snow fall! s**t me england would die if we had that!

I want snow like that just for christmas day though

so i have vette wheels to go on this but i have kinda gone off them so im only gonna run them for a few months, so ive been looking at other wheel choices for last few weeks, and i think im gonna go for Keskins KT1 classics so i did a quick photoshop...




i think they should look pretty good with 7.5x16 up front and 9x16 on the back

people thoughts? any other ideas of cool wheels?
