| I've got a Supersport shock and spring set up, lowered 60mm all round, love the ride, can be a bit bumpy depending on the road, but even then I don't complain | |

| if you dont want a harsh ride DONT LOWER YOUR CAR! i wouldnt bother with springs and shocks either, coilees everytime! Depending on your budget you can get damping adjustable coilovers so then you can go as low and soft as you want do some research cuz some coilovers are less harsh than others its pretty much that you get what you pay for | |

| Well you've either got the bosch standard re-circulating valve which will just dump the excess boost back into the system and can aid with spool up times depending on where it's been plumbed in. The other sort you're talking about is a BOV (blow off valve) which will just dump the boost to atmosphere which is why they make a lot more noise.
Fitting a BOV to some turbo systems will give them the arseache due to the various measuring sensors that check for boost leaks. although it seems on the mk4 by the number of people that fit BOV's that it will run ok.
On standard boost pressures, the stock Bosch recirc valve will be up the job, if you find that the diaphragm has split, you can find the upgrade bosch valve that is fitted to higher hosepower 20v turbo engines such as the 225bhp BAM engine in the S3. These are about £15 quid a pop, so not expensive at all.
My 2p anyway | |
