mk4 gti turbo in a mk2 gti???? MAYBE???

how much would it cost 4 a new mk2 gti engine 2be fitted im my car?? or would it be cheeper 2fit a mk4 gti turbo engine in my mk2??? i duno if i need a new engine or not yet but i was just wondering wot u lot think??? any idears would b good?

i know the average cost used to be 4000 for 20v conversion. obviously you have to get an engine, clocks etc from a donor car, a damaged one might still cost over a 1000 and then buy your engine mounts manifolds, make your gearbox or possibly buy another one like a G60 gearbox, then modify your wiring loom for it to work which must still cost about a grand

i think putting the engine in is easy but making it work is the hardest and expensive part!


another gti engine will cost f*ck all and is easy to do!
or you could pay jason 120 quid and hell fix your head gasket....i bet you never found it cheaper

get some cams for it etc...my one pulls like a barsteward and its done over 200k
