| Yes they are the 8.3mm and there isn't room to drill them out to the standard size. I might paint them but I could paint the whole wheels now I'm waiting for the valves | |

| Had the tyres 2 weeks and still waiting for valves to come. Ive got 2 of the wheels painted now. A pic with the back lower from vw action a few weeks back: I think the coilovers have settled down a little bit now because it seems to rub a lot more than when I first put them on. | |

| I've painted my wheels up and got the tyres on I'll get some better pics when it stops raining! I've got some 20mm spacers each side at rear. The front needs to go down a bit now for more tuck. | |

| Cheers Bridgedubber These pics are when I first put the wheels on. Ive wound the front down another 25mm now so it looks better since these pics. I think Im going to change the splitter to a small one because this one scuffs constantly and the small ones look better. It's sugar beet season starting now so really dirty roads and big lumps of beet to dodge around Bury country roads | |

| I got my heater working this morning I just had to take the bypass valve out and replace it with a bit of pipe and it's working perfectly. I'm sure it's running cooler now too so I'm chuffed. Should have done it ages ago but you don't get round to it until winter starts to get close. It was just the same last year with the caddy. | |

| Gone back to standard height now for winter so I can get down the track to the barn. It's getting grubby now! before: after: It had the handbrake frozen on this morning and then I found a nail in the edge of the tyre. I have had 3 nails in my tyres on this car in the little time I've had it. I'm lucky I had just taken the wheels with new tyres off though! MOT this week fingers crossed | |

| It now has a new rear caliper and new handbrake cables and an odd steely on the back. Seriously thinking about selling this at the moment I want a dirty diesel again or a mk1 or a mk5. I can't decide but once you start looking.... | |

| I'm hanging on to the golf for now but still planning to sell fairly soon. Not too much exciting has happened with it recently. I have changed the ignition switch because it decided to break and changed the oil. That's it but we had a few sunny days so Ive decided it's summer and put the BBS back on today. I changed the front splitter for a small one because the original one was on the road constantly scuffing. It was fairly annoying in town. Ive put the front down 10mm more than before and it doesn't scuff plastic at all. Just the exhaust sometimes now. Still got 15mm of thread left for when I get bored and want it lower. Before the splitter was dragging: Now it has a bit more space and it's a bit lower: I have also changed the BBS centre badges for some others that I had lying around that are not as worn out looking. These are the old ones I changed over. | |
