if its the 15th i wont be able to make it due to work

but could do the weekend either side of it

shouldnt be to early on the scanner it comes up as a 2000 even though 99 on the log book its also tdi so should be able to be flashed with a map rather than chippin the ecu

I mentioned this post to a guy at work and he wants to know if he could get his 2004 Mondeo TDCI (2L) done please? Hes really eager to be quicker than another dude we work with If its OK what gains could he expect?

Hi dude,

If its the 115bhp mondeo then its 24bhp and 35 torque.
If its the 130bhp mondeo then ita 35bhp and 45 torque.

If driven the sane as it is now then you should see around a 10% increase in mpg...I drive the van hard and am seeing a 13% increase in mpg linked with the remap by Angel Tuning and the stainless decat pipe I fitted.

If you could tell your friend that if he would like to put down a deposit then he is more than welcome to come along on the remap day and have his car remapped, then take it for a test drive and if he doesn't like it then they will remove it for free with the deposit refunded.


But if you also could tell him to bring the remaining cash as he most certainly will not want the remap removed I wouldn't go back to a non remapped van...and Gembiza and Caddyrage would not have the remap taken off their Ibiza!

There was a guy who had an Astra VXR remapped and he came back from his test drive white as a ghost! It very much suprised him!

Hey dude,

Will have to email them for you as they list ftom 2000 onwards...if its the same as that and they can do it then it would be 35bhp and 55 torque.

Will fire an email off to them now to confirm.

No date confirmed yet...they will accomodate for any saturday...but am swinging towards the 21st.

If I get a few more confirmed (lots interested but need firm yes's) then I will book it.

ill be a confermed but it does depend on the day as i work week on week off

Hi dude, its a no go on the Octavia. Angel Tuning have said its too old. As a rule they say anything from 2001 onwards.

Glad its what you are kooking for. Deposit ia £50 and can be in either cash delivered to Tinklers or cheque posted to them.

Coming along on the day will be cool...there will be a good mix of people and somewhere to get somewhere to get soome food. Peoples reactions to the test drives are priceless!
