group discount remap day at Tinklers

Have been on the phone this morning trying to arrange a group buy and we have been successful.

The company who will be doing the remapping is Angel Tuning and are a very reputable company. Tinklers even looked at being a franchise but at the time couldn't justify the cost.
The price would be £200 each with a £50 deposit.

If you are interested then please post up on here in a list with what car it is and what engine you have.

If we get the minimum of 10 cars then I will aim to book the first Saturday in May.

This is a damn good deal so I hope we have enough interest.

As an idea of what the increases are like they quoted me on my van which is 104bhp and 250 torque standard. I would see a 40bhp increase with an extra 60 torques and increased fuel economy when driven normally.

what exactly do they need to know all i know is that its a 1.8t ko3 180 bhp with miltek cat back and k&n filter unsure what engine code though.

ive got two different cams with different durations.

i have no idea which will work best so it was my intent to get it mapped properly with both and see which makes the best torque.

oh yea i have a k and n panel filter on mine too mike, if that makes any difference. I assume they are using generic maps?

I think so dude...but obviously there would be a differnce in the power output with the K and N

K and N filters will also be available to buy on the day

Is yours remappable or can it only be chipped? Got a feeling it is the latter in which case it's a no go.

mines a 2001 800 special 1.9td can this only be chipped then ??

I think so dude...will have a check on the t4 forum...but got a feeling it is only chipped.
