83 mk1 golf standard!!!!

here is my mk1 golf the missus brought at big bang.

theres some pictures on the photogallery but i thought i might aswell start a topic on it. but here goes

its blue
1.5 auto,
63,000 with full service history,
no rust,
had a small weld under the sill at the front but that has been welded nicely and no rust seems to be anywhere else which is surprising,
blue dash,
blue interior which is pretty cool,
no sunroof,











let me know what you think anything welcome.

Get it lowered on some nice shiney wheels and it'll be sweet

yer thats what the plans are but gotta find some coilovers and also some nice wheels im not sure which ones to get. theres to many decisions!!! and tbh i havent got alot of money so its a tight budget.

very clean, slam it and keep the stock wheels, just get some beauty rings and chrome stud caps, just my opinion

this needs to be rolling on 13s man

i need a decent set of 13s to get though mate!! thats the problem... cant seem to find any anywhere (in my price range aswell) and the standard wheels are 13's lol

If it was me, i'd keep it retro and tuck some 15's under the arches

got these to go on just need to get tyres i no people say common etc but i like them tbh there straight and do the jobs so thats a plus

yer got some deep dish ones aswell which im going to get sprayed the same colour and put 7j at the back and 6j at the front (i think thats what they are lol) but i got to afford tyres and kick my arse into shape into getting them. but i will get round to getting them.

This looks a lush little motor dude, will be cool to see it with the wheels on.

I would paint the wheels silver again to tidy them up and they will look good with the chrome centres. Get coilovers on and run it on the steels for the time being

havent updated this for a while. only found it as i was looking thorugh some old treads people made and found mine!!

so here goes

not much of an update

changed the wheels finally and rear and front lights are changed aswell

lowered on coilovers but needs to go lower when the other car comes out the garage once its been sorted this will go back in.

also had a new rear bumper and will have an us style front bumper with the washers on the front but i havent got round to doing it yet as other things have come up.

anyway here are some pics.

i hate 5 doors, but 5 door mk1's seem to look spot on, will look amazing when wound down a tad more!
