| I pmed you back but it didnt work anywho i only did my rears as i bought the front 2 for cheap i havent put tyres on them yet, so i dont know if the will balance the g60s have a lip all the way around the inside of the 'dish' so i cut that off with a plasma cutter then i had 2 2.5" steel plates lazer cut my a local steel work company these were obviously flat/straight so i bent them around a barrel by hitting them with a hammer i mounted the wheel to an engine stand which had a swivel end then i made a 'jig' out of wood and mounted the welder to it then i simply put them next to each other and spun the wheel in the engine stand slowly while my friend who is a pro welder spot welded the band onto the wheel then i did the same with the lip that i cut off at the beggining then once they are all together seam weld all the way around both edges i would be very careful if you do deciede on doing it man i havent run mine yet as i said, and im kinda scared. i have no idea if they will stay together, or if they will even hold air. also they arnt completely round, they are like 'hexagon' shaped but with more sides obviously heres pics of them when they were finished on this page; https://fendubbers.forummotion.com/project-cars-f13/turbo-d-mk1-g60-t7767-285.htm</A> | |

| Mate I CAN weld and the finish and the penatration of the weld on these wheels was perfect, I couldnt replicate that kind of weld without a lot of practice and they have been done really really well. Its about the most perfect weld I have ever seen, better than I've seen machines chuck out. | |

the bands were £8 each. any engineering company/steel fabrication company can made some the 'jig' as i called it is just three pieces of wood nailed together in a H shape on its side then mounted the welder end with a G clamp | |
