My R32 after polishing (and 5 mins before it rained again)

Took a few pics after polishing my new car but only a few minutes after pics it rained again which is bloody annoying took between 5-6 hours of making it look it best to last approx 10 mins before getting dirty again.

Before anyone mention quality of photo's or correct angles etc, i have never been into photography and was only taken with the worlds oldest digital camera

The quality of those photo's and the camera angles are all just wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong!!!!!

The way I look at it is in the real world my car gets covered with dirt and stones, the pigeons like to mate on the roof with dirty feet leaving sandy foot prints (and other prints that I dont wanna know about!) everywhere... but at least I know its clean underneath the dirt, so it will easily wash off. Can't beat a good wax!

I seem to spend half my time cleaning as i worry too much lol.

Would you like to come take some better pics for me and show me some better angles to use

Is it standard mate?

It is completely standard absolutely no mods.

In a couple days time there will be a pair of spacers going on rear wheels as they sit to far in the arches lol. Will be the cars first and possibly only mod.

I dont like spacers, can upset the track. Are you sure they will drive ok only on the rears?

I have thought it could upset the tracking, camber etc, but there is only one way to find out.

you will be fine, it will make minimal difference if any. You changed the oil in that bike of yours?

My mate on here fitted spacers all round and it drove like poo. It was so bad he took them off again.

ive fitted a range of 20-35 mm spacers. never had a problem. Mainly for the fact mk4s handle like s**t anyway

Im hopefully starting it tomorrow evening, once i got the oil and filter etc...
Went to halfords in yarmouth couple days ago and they didn't have the page in the book for my bike and couldn't remember the numbers you told me over he phone lol.

And i believe the 20mm spacers i have are your old ones Chris

yeah they will be, they have been round fendubbers

Cr9e is the plug code and f307 or 8 is the filter code.

not a problem mate, i only know of it through leaving my kx for a while. If you want a hand servicing it i dont mind. Bring it down saturday i could do it for you then get a ride going?

To be honest i will probably do it here over next few evenings mate but am well up for a ride out soon though, could also ask Liam (mk3golfcab) aswel as he seems a nice lad but will prob lose him on his TL1000 though lol.

hi luke, saw the r32 other day, looking good. im with graham on the spacers, might not make a difference to the handling on a gti, but I would be very surprised if you didnt notice it on a r32 in a bad way.

To be honest Luke i don't push it hard on the road and doubt i will do track days. Will just see how it goes really, if they are bad expect to see them in for sale section again lol.

And i certainly won't be needing knee sliders as i've still got chicken lines on the tyres lol.

Took me a minute to twig that we were talking bikes....

At least the spacers are easy to fit and try and then remove if they are no good for your set up.

The Haldex system only gets messed up if you have different diameter tyres i think

I was refering to the track mate as discussed above. You are correct in what you say however about hadlex, I believe this is to do with rolling radius
