Thats the ASC button, which turns your traction control on or off. The only cars that came with LSD's are the M3, M3 Evo, and somehow the highly specced up 328i Sport (although this may be fitted afterwards... not sure). So yeah, yours doesn't have an LSD. Thats the first time i've heard anyone say that a 104bhp 316i "slides out very easy".

| lol ye she slides out fine with the asc off as i found out going round a bend me thinking the asc was on when you press it ,nope you turn it off when the lights on and slipped out flipped back in and smashed my head on the fooking window and as i just found out going gym also it started to slide out going round the roundabout but it is abit wet lol tyres not the best . and as for power shes fine mate plenty there to slide a little compact out ,she does have a new rebuilt 1.9 in it so that helps really do need to drop her as its like driving a fooking swimming pool | |

| anything slides easy, just depends on the surface and wheel sizes etc.
If you want to go sideways properly you will want an LSD or a welded diff, you will never slide properly on an open diff.

Only because I don't want to kill myself or anyone else. I think that's a good enough reason. And like I said, thats the first time i've heard anyone say that. It doesn't mean its not possible.
