| hey people need a bit of advise just tried to fit some jom coilies to my bora yay!! but my wheels are rubbing on them bugger ive got 19inch audi rs4 reps on it running 235/3519s. so got to get some spacers in there but not sure wot thickness to go 4 as i dont want them sticking out the arches i will be putting narrow tyres on when these wear out. im sure you guys have had this prob when fitting coilies on a mk4 base. so wot size and wots the best make. | |

| 20mm hubcentric spacers should sort it, all depends on the offset of your wheels. | |

| Id say change the tyres then, but if you have room to space the wheels out then that cant be a bad thing to do. just measure how much room you have between the arch lip and tyre and get spacers slightly less than that, simple | |

| gona go spacers as got a few miles in me tyres left. torn between 15mm and 20mm hubcentrics think 20mm may cause outer rubbing probs but think 15mm may still be close inner prob go 15mm and see. also matty dont want to sound thick but the coilovers are at there lowest setting when wound to the bottom of the shock body right!! | |

| yeah thats the lowest setting m8, what people often do when wanting to run low and have clearance issures with wheel/tyre hitting the coilover spring, is removing the helper spring (which is the smaller spring at the bottom) which then raises where the adjuster seats sit, usually giving enough clearance. | |
