wiper aint working???????

as it say's, my wipers aint working. nothing on them is. Front/rear and jets. thought it could be my stalk but my trip/computer works, checked my relay and fuses and they're ok (i think).

any help, much appreciated

can you hear the pump working when you pull the stalk?

mk2 which im guessing it is as that is what you say u drive suffer relays mine had two fuse boxes in 3 yrs of owning it and about 5-6 relays

If you disconnect the pump and then the wiipers work then its the relay ifrc.

cant hear anything from the stalk. tried relays and fuses today and nothing. used a multi meter on the plugs and i think i might hav no power goin to them.

had to recenlty rip out a load of wires cos someone fitted an after market alarm on it but it kept draining my battery. as far as i can remember, none of the wires i took out affected the wipers, i could be wrong tho, will be lookin at wire diagrams all nite tonight i think

and its a 88' mk2 golf gti 8v

and changed over fuse boxes and still nothing, but both could be dodgy, i dont kno.

but if they are dodgy, wouldn't it affect anything else in the car???
