87' Style

Hello everyone, new on here and so thought i would stick up a few pics of my mk2 after I was prompted to do so in the Spring Fest thread

Will hopefully try and make it to a few meets over the next few months now the weathers getting lighter and sunny! and will see if i catch the convoy to Santa Pod on Sunday

are you running it with no isv? or have you cut the outlets off and rewelded them onto the back of the manifold?

Yes i don't run an ISV and i've welded over the holes in the front of the inlet mani and relocated the brake servo pipe to the rear to try and tidy things up a little

There are lots of little touches in the bay and engine, but the outside looks largely stock, just the way i like it

For me it's all in the detail, and most of all Clean!

Still got the copy of PVW it was in when you had the big bumpers, (keep most of the old ones for reference/inspiration ) looked good then, looks even better now

It's absolutely fine. The only difference is that on cold start up the revs are really low at around 600/700 rpm, but after about 2mins it's idling at 900 as it should. I have also drilled a small 3mm hole in the butterfly valve in the throttle body to allow a little bit more air through at idle, also makes a nice small wistle when coming on and off throttle at high boost

I should be making the 700am meet up at Brampton tomorrow so can have a chat about it then if your going
