havent updates in a while, finaly got the wheel boss. didnt fit after 3 weeks of waiting! so sent it back today. got my new turbo through the post. ebay special from a breaker, thought it was a t3 but its a k14, still was cheap and is a very good solid unit so will be fine.
new td mk3 gearbox got dropped off couple weeks ago now. over xmas i got scrubbing and got it painted vw silver, looks nice and mint now. cant wait to get cracking with the engine now!

stripped all the parts off it, 5 hours of scrubbing and wire wheel'ing to bare metal. primer, paint laquare. minty fresh again!
