| well as some may no my tdi caddy van got wrote off a month ago. finaly got my pay out kept the van then steve bought it off me. bringing the total money some to just under £2500. so the plan is to build this little beast for that some, car wheels interior etc all in. me and stevey b went to pick the car up yesterday, 1.6 1991 driver small bumper in capri green. all really minty and original. plans are to keep it standard but low and on my rs i got a few weeks back nice and cheap. also got my name on a recaro mk2 interior that i should be collection from UD. the car is a sun roof model, all the channels in the roof are perfect with no rust or blockages, only the small dent and little bit of rust on the front wing! will most likely get another one painted through the year. rs 189's, standard 6j et 38, staying 6's up front and maybe 6.5s or most likely 7s upfront. will run bridgestone 165/50/15s all round. before managed to get the centres stuck in the dishes! so poured thinners in the crack between the dish and centre, scrapped as much cack out as i could then greg got the oxysetaline on the go to heat them up, put them on some wood with greg standing on them then took the mallet to them. then got them shot blasted, masked then etched then primed ready for the crickle coat then the silver. cheers for looking, all comments welcome........... | |

Cant wait to see the mods you get done before UD first propper standard wagon ive had, got some cool little trim parts on which are quite funky. coilies and lowering top mounts i ordered from venom motorsport last night wheels going to get some paint today but still loads to do on those let alone polish the dishes, order more dishes and bolts and the tyres. i can get it done before ud, just depends how long its going to takes for my cheque to clear for the pay out if not the 14s will probs go on it for UD - thermal wrote:

Get my PM the other day about wheels? cheers man, oh yeh sorry will reply now! more pics of the wheels, spent over an hour masking the centres out and in the inner lip where the centre meets up to it. was worth it though as it held the crackle paint out better than i thought it would! i used plasticoke brick fininsh paint to get the "texture" finish im after, never done this before so it was a bit of a gamble hoping it will pay off! wheels textured and centre unmasked got 2 coats done on the rear of each at work too, had them in my polishing room and as i didnt polish today. put them on the table and turned the heater up so they dried nicely also stripped the laqure off my half inch dishes, cant see much difference if the pics. polishing begins tomo lunch time so will be updates over the next day or too so please check back. before after all comments welcomes thankyooooooooou | |
