| Im getting the subframe and wishbones for my mk2 will i need the steering rack or shall i use the one that ive got at the moment (mk2 rack)? with the rear beam is it possible to put the 4 stud hub on the vr6 rear beam? cheers guys | |

| Use the mk3 rack as you know for sure that it'll be wide enough. as for using the four stud hubs, I couldn't rightly say but see no reason why not. I'll be going this way myself. | |

| I want to keep my non power steering rack so less bay clutter! Anyone know if the rack will be wide enough? | |

| Good luck with no power steering, they can be a biatch to turn when they are only an eight valve so with the added weight of the vr engine and box you'll have fore-arms like popeye in a short space of time. Save you money going to the gym though.... ........... the mk2 rack should reach its not much more of a stretch to make the track rod ends reach the hubs. | |
