| Im not sure tbh mate, did it just clip on? I got a vast array of tools in the boot, consisting of 1x flathead and 1x phillips screwies. Haha. Lupton, could you possibly shed more light on the matter? | |

| Aha, well im pretty sure it just clips on, snug between rocker cover and air filter box.
Man I feel impractical.
Oh yeah, you've told me that loadsa times. Thing is, your air filter cover is different shape to mine, although the bottom edge could be the same. Im sure it will work, both 1.0s anyhoo.

| Rob doesn't have an engine cover, he wants to put mine on his to make sure it fits, before he wastes money on one. Are cars a different in many ways, so we thought it was worth a test. | |

| I was just thinking that. Although Im sure I did state at the beginning that it would be shoite. Actually.. Update; My splitter is hanging off on one side. One of the bolts on the near side has managed to wriggle through a hole in the splitter, f'ck knows how, and has resulted in a wonky front-ended Polo. Might put pics up of this tomorrow so thread isnt deleted due to masses of irrelevant banter .
