Oil Temperature Empty
PostSubject: Oil Temperature   Oil Temperature EmptyTue Apr 29 2008, 19:40

During warm weather my oil temperature sometimes reaches 115 degrees... Is this too high? Do you think I should fit an oil cooler? If so any ideas on which type/model?

I check/change my oil regularly so I am not quite sure what is causing this to happen.

Cheers

Does this only hapen on long periods of driving at speed? Mine will sit at around 112 if i'm on a long stretch of motorway or the like. Soon drops back to around the normal 98 deg at lower speeds. Always runs cooler after an oil change.
