| well the thing is he wants the plate off it. Its my mate bens. The plate is pretty muh the only reason he bought it really. Its just a pan, shell & doors but he has the glass and bonnet for it. Its also got the original split gearbox with no syncro on first gear. He wants about £600 for it but the plate is worth £1000 and he really wants to do a deal where he gets the plate back IE £600 and you give him the plate when its MOT'd.. But then he doesnt wanna wait ages to get the plate.. So you would have to discuss with him and make him a very good deal? | |

| This is the 1959 rat-bug I used as my daily until I got the golf... and now that's turned from a GTi into a GiT, we're really wishing we hadn't parted with him now... All natural patina from being abandoned in a field for goodness knows how many years! Would have been cool as a daily - glad you didn't decide to buy it and chop it up! | |
