| unless it's got adjustable dampening it's likely to be stiff stiff stiff, based on how much i paid for mine on a group buy i'd say anything normally £250 or under are going to be a hard ride. it's all fun though! | |

| i see. think theses normaly sell for around 220 so prob stiff then. guess have to fit them and see still its always felt a bit sloppy on the corners so should firm it up a fair bit anyway. cheers dude | |

| i looked at coilovers for mk4's it seems hottuning will be the lowest but they rub on your cv's and/or dont fit properly according to a lot of forums/posts any coilover as said above that is cheap will be a pretty harsh ride | |

| yeah thats prob the drive shafts rubbing on the anti roll bar if you go lower than 60mm with out the modded roll bar links they on about. the ones i have got are not hot tunning items. mine are only suposed to be a 30% uprate on the dampers. so not to bad but dont know about the spring rateing thou. we will see i guess. | |

| no nothing to do with the antiroll bar rub the strut on the hottuning coils are apparently to long so the bottom of the strut literally sits on you cv or paper thin close | |

the strut on the hottuning coils are apparently to long so the bottom of the strut literally sits on you cv or paper thin close you sure it aint the arb? because if the suspension setup is similiar to a mk4 golf then it could be the arb's, because on a mk4 you have to have an adjustable one if you want to lower it more than 40mm. Dan nope i mean the bottom of the strut rubs on the cv because its too long therefore many people cut the bottom of the strut down anymore people wana ask if i mean the arb................i dont

Uses a lil bit of petty but i'm sure that's down to my right foot I've got my wheels on, and my boot, there pics in my project thread. So yea it's going all right lol, still needs a few lil bits n bobs to finish it but it's getting there lol.
