Nipped up to see how they was gettin on with this, and all seems to be goin well








The rear arche skins are bonnded together with a metal to metal bond whicha lot of new cars use to attach panels rather than welding, so shoudl easily be strong enough. just needs sanding a smoothing down now.

Should hopefully be all done thursday depending on when i manage to get hold of a good bonnet

I dropped off the driver recaro at the trimmers to have the bulster repaired on friday, hes fully booked for couple of months so the rado bench will have to wait for abit. its ok though as still got a matching standard seat to go in. Also picked up a bonnet on saturday (cheers nick) and will drop that into bodyshop tomora, hopefully still on track for getting it back thursday

In other news, ive found the silver for the RS' centres strangley its on the car in my driveway

Tested my black bolts before the gottis go off for refurb



the Stainless bolts for the RS' came aswell and look hamazing along with new nuts for bolts sets

i hunted ages for mine! and endin up gettin them sent down from scotland. and i bought 3 full interiors to end up with the interior that i want

Was a set of corrado versions on edition wekk or so ago, i did pm him but he never replied

Corrado ones would be gangsta. Apparently the cloth isnt too difficult to track down, bet it costs a mint though.

i dont know m8, ive just sacrifised a stock rear banch for the cloth to fix the drivers bulster.

Urm, in PVW someone was saying in a feature that he had some and the cloth wasnt hard to find.

Off topic, but where are you getting your seats trimmed? I need mine done soon.

Collected my UV recaro from being repaired thismorning

Was like this with the patch on the drivers bulster in a much darker grey fabric


So took it along with a spare rear seat to use for the material to Evan Uphostery in whittlesey.

And collected it like this £30 quid lighter
