I wanted something classic so here is Project S





I won her on Ebay for £215 what a bargain
If you dont know about Polo's then here is the spec
1989 mk2 Polo Coupe S
1.3 Carb engine with a whopping 55 bhp
Plans are to re paint the shell as some of the paint is showing its age, Then lower it and maybe get some ats classics or something classic with a dish.
The engine runs really well but it does need a new water pump so I'm going to put a GT cam in at the same time as a new cambelt.

ive got some P slots on mine at the moment but they dont really look right.
I found something interesting when looking at my sticker in the boot it says my car is a GT but its all badged as a coupe s and listed as a coupe s when i search using the number plate, im wondering if are coupe S is a GT with a different spec level. Does anyone know

did they do a gt in that mark polo???

The sticker is the White Sticker in the boot near the spare wheel well it will say what spec the car is near the top from memory.
According to Wikipedia they did do a mk2 GT with a Fuel injected engine but my engine is Carbed so im even more confused now lol

i looked in my boot and i cant even see a sticker lol
