Red and clear (euro) rear lights?

My Mk1 Golf cabrio went for an Mot and failed on my new rear lights, these were bought from a stall at Gti international last year.

Apparently they have no reflector in them. Has anybody heard of this problem before? Or is there an easy way around this that I havent heard of?

I had to return the lights to original then it passed with flying colours ready for the road 1st April. Just a bit peeved they cost me £40.

You obviously went to the wrong tester

To be honest there shouldn't be a problem with them though, have you got any photos?

Youve ovbiously got a really picky tester m8, easiest way round it is jsut buy couple of stick on refectors just for the MOT

Now you passed just stick them back on!
