| shes all up and running again now no rattles. Seems faster That could be the WUR mod i did and a few other tickles but not sure. Also seems quieter with new gaskets etc on so i bet the old exhaust gaskets were blowing. Got my new genuine grill badge, rear badge and side badges too so should be looking pretty swish for the show. | |

| just wanna say thanks to steph and andy to taking me to GSF today when a rocker cover half moon gasket was lost so its thanks to them its all fixed. Bridgedubber I'll tell you at either the meet or the show mate as its easier to explain in person. Anyway got some pictures to catch up on lol. Old headgasket - head off - Head surface all cleaned up and flatted off - New ABF steel headgasket upgrade from the fibre one as i found out the bottom end is a 9A not an ABF. Head back on with inlet, new cambelt etc. Then done a few bits of tidying up and painting in the bay and it looks like this now - Tomorrow - making carbon parts | |

| yeah it appears to be a 9a with a KR head or could be a 9a head i havent looked at the codes. Dunno what cams its got in it but i know its had a fair bit of material machined out of the head so the cams dont catch and they can turn over lol so they are pretty big. Im thinking of getting some carbs actually but are the trouble you have had im not sure haha. Yeah its bloody quick on anything but a straight road its faster than my VR by miles and so so revvy yours should be fast as hell when its all sorted mate. | |

| Yeah could be a 9a head then, are they areftermarket cams? yeah i think this will be the forst and only car i have on carbs tbh, yeah fair enough they sound cool but they are pain in hte arse. cuz even when they set up relly well they are only perfect at 1 point in the rev range. yeah mine was pretty rapid on the way home from picking it up, pissed all over a 330 bemmer | |

| yeah they are definately aftermarket cams going by how much was taken out of the head. Im guessing only the inlet is different though as ive seen a lot of people put just an aftermarket inlet in instead of both. Not sure why but i havent really looked into it much. | |
