out of the 4 mk2 gti's i've had this is my first 16v so i've no clue about the k-jet system. can anybody enlighten me as to how it works. also the breather system looks proper complicated with some wierd sloenoid valve thing underneath the intake pipe. the system on mine was totally blocked up! the pipe from the block to the airbox totally blocked off and presumably this caused heavy breathing seemingly resulting in oil everywhere in the whole intake system. the air filter was soaked in crude oil! funny this is, is that the car runs well and goes like stink! is the breather system on these prone to blocking up like this?
