Summer meet

Was talking with Gembiza at the meet...and we thought it might be a good idea for one of the nice and hot summer meets to have it in a field somewhere...that way we can have a few beers...get the tents up and a nice big bbq

i think people have started such an idea before but nothing materialised!

someone really needs to take charge and go for it

i don't mind taking charge of it as long as nobody minds and people are up for it

i imagine no one minds you taking charge!

i love camping, my girlfriend loves camping and my mates all love camping and we all drive/like vw's so providing im not at work, well come!

have you got any dates/locations in mind?

i suppose we might have to pay for the pleasure of stayin in someones field, unless someones a farmer

i shall have a word with my sisters boyfriend he knows alot of farmers

just been thinking about the extra things that may be forgotten like a portaloo or 2.

maybe a generator for some tunage!

if things have to be hired then we will all have to put in a bit of dollar!

i think my rents have a generator in one of the sheds, and we used a really cheap portoloo company for my old mans 40th back in september!

Hi Mike, I dont mind giving you a hand if needed! could organise it over a cup of tea at ours

Me and Lee went camping with the caddy club last year, was near Northampton and they rented and sectioned off field in a scenic camping venue with a lake in the middle, town and pub in walking distance and onsite facilities (loo's for the ladies and bridgedubber ). I can have a look and try and get the details and prices for that if you like? I think it was pretty cheap when we went, good fun and less hassle as its all there!

Sounds good to me and a cup of tea would be a bonus...i'm freezing
