Who are HIC? 10% Discount for Fendubbers.....

Right well as some of you already know i work on the Underwriting/sales department for HIC (Herts Insurance Consultants) so though i would tell you a little about HIC and what we offer.

HIC are based in Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire and have been trading for almost 20years now (and i have worked here for 10! ). We offer specialist insurance for classic and modified cars (especially vw's ) and can arrange insurance policys specifically designed to meet the needs of car enthusiasts!

as i share my car with my mum is it still possible to insure with you? she is the owner of the car

im running a golf gl 1800 im 18 and have been driving for 5 weeks , insurance .....1600 comp

afraid not bud, we can only insure drivers under a parents name if they are 25+. We could possibly cover it in your name but you would have to be the registered owner and keeper.

we only recently started insuring under 19's so the prices are still a bit hit or miss as we only have a couple of underwriters who will insure 17/18 yr olds (& even less if the car is modified!).

What Cover where you looking at? is the car modified atm?
