i hate beeing towed home

especially 2 nights in a row.

My brother got the beetle running again today and was running better than ever. So we set off to the meet, about 4 miles down the road cut out again :( the fuel pump has fucked up, even though it was brand new 3 months ago.

I hate VWs...

But i still love them

sure its ya fuel pump?? check ure lines, carb and electrics, ive had a nightmare with mine recently.

yea was the fuel pump, put new one on today runs the best its ever done before

yeah beetles do seem to eat fuel pumps for some reason, god knows how many ive changed lost count haha

mine has the habit of cutting out on busy roundabout like queensgate amd stanground lol

mine used to do that trick too. never used to idle properly, little barsteward!

yep always plays up in the most annying places.

mines running relly well (touch wood), its running quicker aswell, seems to get up to speed alot better and alot smoother

none of my bugs have ever ticked over, just learnt the old heely toe method to keep it running
my bug broke down twice on the A11 yesturday :(. i think my carb is buggered, i knew it hadda flat spot but i think its all one big flatspot now, its not happy lol.
