| No one said anything was wrong with Jabba, just asking for other options. I am a Shark performance dealer so can offer remaps in Cambridgeshire if anyone is interested. | |

| I must admit after re reading it I didn't put it very well. Apologies.
Do you have a rolling road or access to one ? Do you do dervs (the devils fuel) ? My t5 130 has had the dpf mapped out, I've put 35k on a brand new engine in the last 12 months and would like a reasonable gain in both power and economy. Celtic are quoting 200 ish brake on my engine...a clear thirty more than any one else (but proven) I'd be happy to settle for better economy as long as it doesnt smoke like stevensons rocket.

One of my workmates had a Shark remap on his mk5 derv (at GTI Inters this year after failing to keep up with my G60 on the way ) and he has been really pleased with it. Think it was 130bhp up to about 170bhp from memory (things were certainly closer on the way home, although I did notice a little more black smoke nut not excessive). The Shark lads were top blokes too. Never used Jabba myself but am planning to for my charger rebuild once I have saved the pennies! | |

| Hi, I dont have a rolling road myself, i upload Sharks maps via OBD2 port. If the vehicle that requires mapping is on Sharks website i should in most cases be able to map it. Most cars past 59 plate need ecu removing and 'docking' direct to a PC (which i don't yet have the facility for).
Diesels are no problem subject to the above.
The T5 is listed on there so should be ok. What year is yours? and looking at the above the 130 maps to 165hp according to Sharks website (stage 1) but i'm sure other mods could be catered for if we ask them. Shark quote 200bhp for the 174bhp(standard) model so maybe that is what celtic are quoting????

| i would be concerned about getting to much bhp out of a car with just a plug in remap. mines been to MRC and they do a health check on the car first before you think about the remap then its three rolling roads while getting the map just to make sure | |

| Hi,
It's not all about the big number. A smooth progressive well developed map may have marginally less top end power than others but there will be less stress on components, clutch engine internals, turbo etc. Real world driveability is worth more in my opinion than one with ultimate bhp. I can't speak for Badger and their maps figure wise but they do have a good rep' also.
