Mk2 vr6 project

I know it's been done to death
But I've always fancied a mk2 vr
So I bought a mint mk2 1.3 3 door
It's a real genuine minter
H plate in tornado pink
With factory roof
I also picked up a genuine 90k mk3 vr6 with fsh
And climate control
I have kw coilovers
Full power flex poly bush set
Goodrich hoses
Magnex exhaust
Solid front mount
G60 radiator
Twin 10" slimline fans
Here's a few pics so far

We cut and welded the chassis instead of denting it


using early mk3 bbs vr6 wheels but they are very close to calipers

ok its now been a few weeks
its on the road tax mot etc
interior stripped
door trims re-coloured
corrado front seats (untill i can find some recaro subframes!)
rear strut brace
show cage
badgless grille
raised up suspension a bit
eibach camber bolts fitted and all aligned
90 spec door mouldings
gti rear black trim and boot trim carpets
waiting for de cat pipe to stop vibration under neath its really anoying

not sure yet bought it off ebay from an asian car dealer in birmingham it was his show car
the heater matrix blew when i was supposed to pick it up so the guy delivered it
it was pissing down with rain and looked ok
so i payed for it only to find the car was built and modded by his family friend
who was supposed to be an auto electrician
his only tallent was twisting wires togeather and taping them up including the cat 1 alarm lol
so now im stripping the whole lot out and re wiring it and re taping the loom
fitting new matrix and new dashboard
ive also had to fit new steering column. carpets/ ignition
and thats before ive even run it (i have started it and it revs very well but thats it )
i didnt know about the nos untill i found the solonoid not sure whats missing
i will have to investigate
it was supposed to be a 220 bhp before nos and it was aparently a 50 shot of nitrous
we will see in a few weeks
