Ok, I have 1600 mk2 driver which is eating fuel and I'm just unable to cure the irratic idling, ive nailed it to the (poopburg) carb as everything else is new.
I get it to run lovely and it eats fuel, lean it up to get the mixture right and it revs its nuts off and I cant bring the idle down, theres no air leaks and I've begun to hate the car with a passion.
What I need to know is which webber I need to find plus if anyone has a good one up for grabs with all the bits to do the conversion.

| After further investigation it turns out the base gasket has a small split in it, hence the uneven running.
Got to find one now, ecp I'm guessing.
