MK1 Caddy 1.6D > :-)

Started the flip today but run out of daylight due to starting pretty late after footy!

Will have her back on the floor tomorrow afternoon though, pics;

Got her back on the floor this afternoon but she's not nearly low enough with the standard flip!!! I know the new shocks will settle slightly but still think I'm going to need 2" blocks at least...

No pics unfortunatley as it was dark when I finished so maybe get some tomorrow in the rain. Couldn't see major camber difference either but can't really tell until I get her on some flat ground...

Dude. You should've put the 11mm thick plate under the block aswell

Had a good look through everyone elses block installs and most run as I have dude so went the same, 11mm isn't going to be enough. I'll order some 2" blocks this week...

Looks like it lol, from what I have seen they do as I have but some have made a smaller plate to go with the block for fine tuning. You have to drill through the block and use a bolt to locate it then so a bit more hassle.

I think the 2" blocks will do the trick nicely. I could go even lower as I jumped up and down on the rear and there is no rubbing at all. I think the camber and arch's have worked a treat...

Yeah yeah! Blocks ordered, ill start work on the front arch's now and drop the front an inch...

I always put the little plate on top of the springs when Ive done axle flips

Think I will too when I get the 2" blocks for just that little bit more...

Blocks haven't arrived yet so jacked her up at the front and rolled one of the arch's before dark! As you can see my arch's have a fair few chips, dents and flaky paint so unfortunatley didn't go aswell as the rears and some paint has flaked. Prob have to paint them in the summer

I have a little more work to do on the front arch's as when I rolled them, where there were holes for the arch liner it has dented to outer arch a bit so may have to prise the inner arch back a little to remove the dent then fold back - I may need some advice from Mark (Supa76) on this though...

that sits well mate. im seriously loving the wheels. i may have to find some now for my b3.

Caddys looking sweet though mate, proper slammage . I think ive got a way to sort out your arches, i know what you mean and i should be able to get them back in shape

Yeah mate not too bad but very noticeable. The dent has actually gone in from the outside which I wasn't expecting!!!
