Oh yeah and I managed to straighten out my tailgate, giving a quick skim on outside and then I'll spray it. Can't be bothered to get the dent out on the inside though

if you find a way to get the inside dent out of tail gate let me know as just got a caddy and want to fix it!

I probably could do lupton or get a dent puller etc but not too bothered as its no show car! Just making it tidy at the moment but who knows in the future

My mate came round yesterday too and he thinks he has another tailgate down the side of his parents pad so will be interesting to see that....

Axle flip in motion;





I should have the saddles welded on this week then I'll tidy it up a little before blasting and powder coating...

It needs a little more trimming but nearly there...









Will fit my tinted slider over chrimbo and get the rest of the bits for the flip....

Will be taking the axle and a few other bits for blasting and powder coating after Chrimbo then the flip can be done over a weekend if all goes well...

Almost ready...

Bought some new u-bolts which came with 1" lowering blocks so today I started with the arch's

Powder coaters should be back in business this week so as soon as axel is ready can finally get her dropped...









Guna take a while to roll them but made a decent start today...

Yeah not too bad, only managed about half hour on that one as I had originally put stands on the axel but this didn't drop the roller enough to fit so; wheels back on, jack her up, jack at front etc etc Then I couldn't be bothered but wanted to make sure they will roll, they will so pretty

Also best get my ass in gear and get the arch rolling done as picked this little lot up today:

Arch rolling is harder than it seems isn't it! I started it on the mk2 and then gave up. Will have another go when it warms up

I think its ok, the Caddy arch's are really wide though so had to rubber mallet them just so I could get started!

Finally finished my rear arch's to allow the axel flip with 8's... Pretty happy with how they have turned out considering the size of the Caddy arch's to begin with! Just need a lick of Por15 then I'll seal them up with body sealant.

I'll start the flip tomorrow....

did you heat you arch as you done them?

when me and my mate done his mk2, we used a heat gun aswell, made it easier and didnt crack any paint
