| Anyone know of somewhere that could do it? All the sets of wheels I've recently been looking at have very low offsets. Would want 10mm machined off the back (can be done to these wheels as its been done before).
Thinking of buying a set, but would be interested to see if anyone knows of a company round here that'd do it. Preferably as close to Cambridge as possible. And prices would be great too!

| Are the wheels cast or forged? Had my front bbs gt's machined down but they're forged so nothing to really worry about. | |

Not sure mate. I do now that they're 3-piece and have magnesium centres. That's about it though. Whereabouts did you get yours machined down? And how pricey was it?

And how pricey was it? says it all really. ule be lucky to get 10mm off the back of any wheel, 5mm is extreem maximum i would have though, like matt said probs only sensible on a forged wheel. magnesium isnt really a nice material todo anything too, let alone take 10mm off of it

| Ah right. I'm not too clued up on this stuff so thought best to ask on here anyhow. Cheers for letting me know. Emailed the guy for some more pics of them and the lips aren't as 'mint' as he originally stated anyway.
Gonna steer clear of them. And getting forged wheels isn't cheap, so I probably won't be buying some anytime soon!
Cheers again chaps. | |

And how pricey was it? cast mag is a tricky material to deal with as joe said. i know youve said people have took 10mm off them before but without seeing them its hard to say. And wherei got mine done wouldnt touch them i dont think.
