Hi, im thinking of getting some new wheels for my 1.4 mk3 golf but need some help as to how easily they will fit.

The ones I am looking at are 15s 6.5j and are et35, can anyone tell me if they are likely to rub on my coilovers or will they fit ok? Also, any idea as to how low I can have the car before there are rubbing problems with these wheels with 50 profile tyres. Cheers

they're half an inch wider than standard gti 15's and have a lower offset so will sit slightly further out and fit easily allowing a big drop.

what width tyre are you gonna use and what coilover set-up?

Ok cool cheers. At the moment the car is down about 120mm on hottuning coilovers and I think I may have some 195/50s that I may be able to use which will give the tiniest stretch ever lol but only because I have them on some other wheels so can use them if needs be.
