My Golf van. Now for sale

Found a Golf van for much cheapness so I bought it. Its a red mk3 not in bad condition and has loads of mot,tax. Looks a bit like a Golf Country at the mo but coilies are on there way. Not sure what wheels to get, any ideas?

hali mk3s have been done a few time, some work some dont. think it jsut depends how well its done, getting the colours in the right places is a must!

Specs on the rs'??

Starting to think there might be too much of one colour if I do it to the van. Looks like its gonna be a darker red in a matt finish. Wheres my roller!!

Wheels are only reps. Cant afford the real thing at the mo

Cheers bud. Paints on its way( decided on a dark red matt ) and hopefully mates gonna do coilies Saturday. Dont really wanna put wheels on before then (not with it in 4x4 mode ). As soon as its slammed and wheels on I will put pics up

Wheels came from Direct Alloys UK. They advertise on as well.

what size tyers did you go for? and what the spec on the rims?

Wheels are 7" ET27 Should have gone smaller than 195 with the tyre's. Would of looked better with some stretch. Lowering the front a bit more and gonna play with camber a bit on saturday. Will be at Santa Pod Sunday as long as its not raining if you want a closer look

Funny you should say that cus I think if it wasn't there it just looks like a D.I.Y job. As in I've a couple of pieces of metal in the shed I think I'll weld up the windows of my car.

Seen pics of ones that have had it done and I.M.O it just looks wrong.

At the end of the day it's a van and should look like one.

Forgot about this thread. Van is now painted in original colour and will soon be wearing my company signage plus a couple more tweeks.

Have GTi bumpers to go on once painted and a possible wheel change is in the pipeline.

Might take a while to get the wheels as I bought a 28yr old Mk2 in a moment of weekness on the other day.

Van now for sale on to fund the Mk2
